​ADP International Designer Joint Exhibition Starts from October 25th in Tokyo

From October 25th to 31st, “Cross the Line - ADP International Designer Joint Exhibition” held by Asia Designer Communication Platform (ADP) starts in newest Tokyo design hotspot – Tennōzu Isle. It’s located in Warehouse TERRADA, which is designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. “Cross the Line - ADP International Designer Joint Exhibition” exhibits the representative works from more than one hundred excellent designers from 28 countries and 8 design fields, and it includes two-dimensional, multimedia and product/model exhibition.

ADP has successfully held “ADP Design Tour” in Bangkok in May, which includes a series of design-related events. It didn’t only hold attentions from both of international and local media and business representatives, but contribute to the discussion between local business and international designers about the possibility of cooperation in the future. In October, ADP holds “ADP Design Tour” in Tokyo, which includes international designer joint exhibition, press event, art tour, media interviews and dining party exclusive for designers and business representatives, which attracts more than one hundred designers from different countries, media and business representatives to participate in.

“I do hope this dynamic and ambitious organization will be known by more designers in the world and help more and more designers to expand their international influence and market!” ADP regional president, international curator and entrepreneur Annie Ivanova said. ADP Irish adviser Conor Clarke said, ADP thinks Japan is a really important and international city, and it also has really high market value, so ADP regards Japan as the most important base in Northeast Asia and will in the future hold events in Japan every year regularly.

Asia Designer Communication Platform is the first cross- spectrum design association with offices in Hong Kong, Sydney, and Amsterdam. Since its establishment, it has assisted dozens of famous regional designers in successfully stepping onto the international stage. At the moment, ADP has around 100 members, and there are hundreds of designers in the application process.

“Cross the Line - ADP International Designer Joint Exhibition” is quite diverse, that includes architectural, graphic, interior, visual, product, exhibition, fashion and stage design these 8 design fields.

“I think it’s a great idea to unite designers from different fields and different countries, and also to increase the international influence of Asian design.” ADP Japanese member representative, also a professor of Osaka Sangyo University and founder of namesake architecture firm - Takashi Yamaguchi said. “I do look forward to the dining party with local business representatives and hope to find potential business opportunities.” ADP Thai member representative, also founder of namesake architecture firm – Jun Sekino said.

From the year 2018, ADP will keep holding ADP Design Tour in Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Munich and many other cities, and will continue inviting excellent designers from different countries to be exhibitors, to increase the international exchange chances and expand the market area.

The exhibitors of “Cross the Line - ADP International Designer Joint Exhibition” includes Japanese international award-winning architect Kikuma Watanabe, the first Chinese Red Dot Design Award Winner(space category) and the founder of Taipei Base Design Center Janus Huang, Hypothesis Agency which is led by Thai renowned architect
​ ​Yarinda Bunnag, Japanese architecture firm Toki Architectural Office which has won Kids Design Award for 3 years continuously, famous Chinese graphic designer Yong Qing Liu, Argentine interior and product designer Alexander Lotersztain who’s honored as “Top 100 Designers in the World”, Japanese international award-winning graphic designer Aya Codoma and many others. Since the exhibitors are the top worldwide designers, it draws a great deal of attention of international and Japanese media.​
