Exhibiting the most extensive private collection of Thai art spanning from well established to emerging artists.The gallery founded in 1979 is one of Thailand's leading collectors of Thai's national artists, modern masters and emerging talents.

The Sombat Permpoon Gallery : สมบัติเพิ่มพูน แกลเลอรี was founded by one of Thailand’s most prominent and renowned art collectors, Sombat Wattananthai (คุณสมบัติ วัฒนไทย)

Miss. Sombat has been a leading collector of the Thai art community for over 40 years. Beginning her impeccable Gallerist career back in 1979 when she opened her first art gallery in Silom, Bangkok. Named Sombat Gallery (สมบัติ แกลเลอรี)

From humble beginnings, after much acclaimed success she continued to open further 3 galleries. In 1982, Sombat Gallery was opened at River City Plaza, the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel in 1984, Dusit Thani Hotel in 1985. Followed in the by other two galleries at Siam Inter Continental Hotel in 1992 and the prestigious Nai Lert Park Hotel in 1993.

In 1995, Ms. Sombat converted the 6 story office building into the current art gallery space and moved her entire art collection, in excess of over 10,000 works of art to the now Sombat Permpoon Gallery building.
