Annie Ivanova is a culture game-changer, arts curator, entrepreneur, executive producer, acclaimed author and world adventurer.
In 2011 Annie relocated from Melbourne to Taipei becoming the first and only international curator based in Taiwan.Studio Ivanova is a cultural events and exhibitions based practice, which promote cross-cultural communication, innovation and trade in the creative industries.
She is the acclaimed author of Taiwan by Design, the first comprehensive design book from the Beautiful Island. The phenomenal project took 2.5 years to complete and raised $1,500,000 through crowd-funding in Taiwan.
In 2016, Annie became the first cultural representative to receive the prestigious ANZ Chamber of Commerce Business Award for "outstanding contribution the Australia-Taiwan Relationship". She is also the only businesswoman awarded in 2016.
The scope of her business acumen spans USA, Western Europe and Asia. In 2001 she co-founded and was the executive director of Australia's first media arts agency, representing renowned artists. She worked with some of the world's leading cultural institutions: ZKM, Centre Pompidou, Ars Electronica, Smithsonian, National Palace Museum, ACMI and Queensland Gallery of Modern Art.
Annie Ivanova holds qualifications in Foreign Affairs & Trade from Monash Graduate School of Business & Economics, and has degrees in Fine Arts and Digital Media. She is a founding member of the Australian-Taiwan Women Entrepreneurs Network of the Australia-Taiwan Business Council.

Living With Design Exhibition in Home Hotel Da.An
Curator-in-Residence Project
Home Hotel is a new concept hotel, established to promote local design and indigenous culture. In the spirit of ‘Made in Taiwan’ mark, the hotel has collaborates with local brands to create an authentic atmosphere for visitors.
The interior design of its rooms is inspired by the home living style of Taiwan's indigenous people, while its public activities introduce diverse cultural experiences to guests.
Home Hotel & Studio Ivanova partnered for a unique live-in residency. Over a period of two months they created hotel based activities aimed at popularising Taiwanese design. -
Gifts From The Star in Taipei 101 Tower
Presented as a giant gift to the public this magical exhibition celebrates the creativity and ingenuity of design talent, whilst encouraging patrons to support the local brands during the festive period.
In 2014 the magnificent hall of the world famous Taipei 101 building is adorned by a 12 meter tree underneath with the most lavish Christmas gifts in the city.... over 101 products by the rising stars of Taiwanese design.

Encoded in Art Taipei & World Trade Centre
<Encoded> is the first media art exhibition at ArtTaipei. It presents Australian artworks drawing inspiration from the systems of communications and encoding that are rapidly influencing the ways in which we engage with the world today.
The artworks serve as counterpoints to the prevailing presence of the rationally codified spaces of modern life by contrasting them with the fragility of the natural environment and the significance of cultural diversity.

GLOBAL CAMPAIGN - One Earth Unites Many Worlds
In cooperation with ZKM | Cemter for Arts and Media Remotewords will install a global message authored by Peter Weibel on the occasion of GLOBALE - an event extending over 300 days to commemorate the 300 year anniversary of Karlsruhe (June 2015 – April 2016).
Comprehending the globe as an expanded art territory, Remotewords spreads the message via 5 roofs x 5 cultural institutions x 5 continents. The full sentence was released with the opening of the exhibition ‘Infosphere’.
Remotewords is a long-term artistic project by German artists Achim Mohné and Uta Kopp. Referencing art, literature, design and mapping, they install messages on roofs of cultural institutions. The messages are best viewed from the air and sent worldwide via virtual globes on Google Earth.

Strange Attractors in Zendai Museum Of Modern Art & Novamedia
The Strange Attractors exhibition and accompanying symposium, explore startling creative projects realized through collaborations between artists and scientists. Through various national programs, the artists have been able to undertake residencies that have afforded them access to high-end scientific facilities and opportunities to work with scientists form a wide ranging disciplines. The fascinating results of their collaborative inquiries into the less known are presented in the exhibition.

(Book) Taiwan by Design: 88 Products for Better Living
Studio Ivanova published the first comprehensive book ever to be researched about Taiwanese culture and design.
The epic project took 700 days to complete with 350 companies visited, and it was financed through a hugely successful crowd-funding event. The video had 200,000 views on social media, becoming the most successful crowed-sourced project for publishing in Taiwan.
