“Scacco Matto” Portable lamp
- A DesignAward 2023 -
Company: Lumere (Italy)
Scacco Matto draws inspiration from the 1960s radical design movement and invites audiences to explore and interact with shapes and light. Featuring three magnetically connected elements, the portable lamp can be transformed in five different light sculptures, to inspire a new interest in the role light plays in transforming the look, feel, and atmosphere of homes. It can be used as a vase, sculpture or to focus light on a particular area. The five possible combinations are reminiscent of chess, hence the name Scacco Matto, the Italian translation of checkmate.

“Hill” Bench/Shoe Rack
Company: Kochuu (Thailand)
This complement is a two for one product that functions as both storage and a sitting bench.
HILL provide a combination of practicality and space-saving qualities, making them a useful addition to households or even specific public spaces, allowing footwear management more efficient. -
“On the Rock” lighting family
Company: Multiforme (Italy)
Glass is the ideal medium to represent ice, the ‘whiskey on the rocks’ of this light work. Inside the glass cubes, a vortex reflects the light and makes it visible. A crystallised representation of the change of state from solid to liquid, as if the LED source actually had the ability to melt the glass with its heat.
The outer surface is made from a hammered mould to add an additional luminous effect.

“Louis XXI” coffee table
Company: Morelato (Italy)
The Louis XXI coffee table follows the classic design lines prevalent during the time of Louis XVI but injects a bit of social rhetoric with inset, crisscrossing grooves. A metaphor for the reconstruction of France after the fall of the treasonist King. Absolute monarchy came to an end and paved the way for Napoleon. As a footnote, the grooves are also great to hold mail, newspapers, and magazines. First Prize in international competition of design “The Significant furniture 2007”. “Louis XXI” is included in the Museum permanent collection of M.A.A.M Verona.

“Rubber-netto” Faucet
- Red Dot Award 2007 -
Rubber-Netto is a flexible faucet designed for bathroom sinks, offering control over the direction and flow of water. The inspiration behind Rubber-Netto came from the desire for a more flexible way to control water flow in the bathroom. While the use of flexible hoses for faucets has been seen in the kitchen, it would be equally useful in the bathroom.
The body of Rubber-Netto is made of brass, which provides durability, while its outer covering is made of high-performance rubber. The Bioplastics covering is strong, hygienic, recyclable, and scratch-proof. The water mixer lever is integrated into the faucet's overall bio-amorphous expression, providing a seamless design. It is also easy to clean and safe for children.

“Amsterdam” chandelier
Company: Lightsculptures
Client: Private Golf
The suspension light "Amsterdam," manufactured by Lightsculptures, embodies the nostalgic essence of the fifties. With its design and aesthetic, it captures the spirit and style of that era, invoking a feeling of timeless charm and elegance. -
WAI
Client: SOFITEL Bangkok Sukhumvit
- Muse Design Award 2023 -
The Wai gesture involves a slight bow accompanied by the pressing together of palms in a prayer-like manner. We have aptly epitomized this gesture by arranging with precision two delicate petals from the orchid flower, imparting an illusionary perception of temporal suspension, graciously encapsulating the precise moment prior to the symmetrical culmination of said gesture. The artistic creation has been then completed by incorporating a total of 1200 handcrafted water droplets made of recycled glass. The chandelier serves as a perpetual symbol of the importance of greetings and quietly shares narratives of customs, inclusivity, and graciousness, mirroring the essence of Thailand.
