【 About Sophia Georgopoulou | Design 】
Sophia Georgopoulou | Design is a small and super-agile Agency that has the delight to work with a wildly diverse clientele from all over the globe.
Our work has been awarded in prestigious National and International Design competitions and was published in selected global publications focused on design (Taschen, Design & Design, Monsa, Rockport Publications, Designerbooks etc). In 2015, we were honoured as the Best Agency of the World 2015 at the Best Brand Awards, an international design competition that focuses in high quality in logo design by awarding brands that stand out in visual communication globally.
Our focus is branding, logo design, visual communication, corporate identity development, packaging & print. Brand needs can also involve positioning, naming, verbal identity & copy development, brand communications and brand asset production. For needs such as these, a top-notch network of collaborators has been developed – involving cherry-picked, brilliant minds recognised as the very best in their respective fields.
Every single project receives the amount of personal involvement it deserves, no matter the details of the case. We want to create identities that stir emotions, but also do the trick for the brand behind them. “Think with your heart!” is the motto that defines our philosophy of complementing artistic magic with brand strategy & planning. It is the balance of the two that makes sure that things work the way they should.
Our ultimate desire and goal is to uplift and inspire people through our work – giving rise to positive emotions and making everyone see things under a different light and perspective.

Plan(e)t Foods
The food universe witnesses a massive shift towards sustainability & ethics, but the ice-cream category has not been particularly affected. One of the main reasons: it’s REALLY hard to crack the combo of planet-friendliness and pleasure – the core driver behind ice cream. Pla(n)et Foods though have managed to do exactly that: 100% plant-based ice cream, a carbon-negative footprint AND natural flavors to die for. Just wow! The tagline says it all: Dairy-free, pleasure-full. The eco-packaging derived exclusively from sugarcane, perfectly complements their proposition.

That summer feeling all year long!
The intensity of competition within the category of juices is, quite frankly, insane and a good product on its own is not enough to guarantee success. Here come Melon Bros, a small yet ambitious company based in Thessaloniki, Greece focusing exclusively on quality watermelon juice. They wanted a fresh, bold and distinctive proposition, including naming and visual identity for a brand destined for export.

Paltsidis Hellenic Gastronomy - Salads & Dips
Paltsidis Hellenic Gastronomy S.A. is a food business with a focus on appetisers, dressings and canned products based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Their range includes many traditional and well-loved recipes, some of them with a more modern twist. Following a longstanding presence in the market (since 1975) & a renewed export drive, the brand felt that it was time to review its identity. The process started from a totally new logo, refreshing, appetising and inviting but respecting the values and tradition of the company so far. Following the logo, it made perfect sense to move to their core product line, that of salads & dips.

Amphora Olympia Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Amphora Olympia is a series of premium quality Organic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Greece that is targeted to the foreign market. The brand pays tribute to the history of the birthplace of the Olympic Games, ancient Olympia, where olive trees were grown not only for their fruits but also to honour the triumphant athletes. The design strategy was based in depicting the ancient practice of preserving olive oil in amphorae. The brand logo was based on a abstract "amphorae" shape letter A (Amphora) that includes a circle that symbolises the olive oil and ancient Olympia (letter O).

Frenzy
Coffee culture was always strong in Greece. Standing out among a sea of competitors is not easy. This is especially the case in the Glyfada suburb of Athens where cafes can be found in every corner, but also where the bar has been set particularly high. The owners of Frenzy, a new café in the area needed an identity that not only stands out visually but also is in the position to communicate the passion for great coffee and good life that stands at the core of the brand – epitomised by the motto ‘feelgood coffee’.

CARAVANA ( Peri- peri chicken Restaurant in Paris, France )
Quick Service Restaurants with chicken centered menus have been a runaway success in the last few years, and today they are adored all over the world. This unexpected success has put ideas in the minds of many entrepreneurs who want to try their own luck in this business - making this market a particularly competitive and crowded place. This was true for the French market as well - and the fact was clear to the people of Caravana, who wanted to start on the best terms possible. Their own version of the quintessential chicken-menu QSR had to be based on established and well recognised codes of the industry, but also had to introduce elements of freshness and distinctiveness.

Ktima Kissa
Kissas, a winemaking family based in Corinth. They are the carriers of a deeply rooted tradition that started with small steps back in 1949, and today is in its third generation. Their story and creations are inexorably linked to the history-rich mountains of Corinth in Peloponnese, where many ancient legends can be traced down. Ideal local conditions combined with the family’s knowledge and passion, bring to life wines bristling with character and individuality, each with a special story to share.

Barafakas’ Winery
Creation of Barafakas’ Winery logotype, located at the Nemea region of Peloponnese, Greece.
Our inspiration sprung from the famous Lion of Nemea and the fact that this region holds a great tradition in quality vines and wine making.
