Portfolio
-
Fluct
More dignity to wall clock.
Fluct is a wall clock designed with "dignity" as its theme, focusing on the expression of materials and textures, and thoroughly designed in every detail. -
pirkamonrayke
Utilize, connect, and exceed.
pirkamonrayke is a project brand by Sasaki Kougei, a manufacturer of small wooden products in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, based on the principle of "making the most of wood", in cooperation with one of Japan's leading production centers to present the world with new possibilities of Japanese craftsmanship. We are designing all the products that make up the first collection of the brand, which is an inter-production collaboration with Kyoto. -
Frond
A desk chair that also fits in with your living space. Frond started with this proposition.
In recent years, the way we work has been changing rapidly all over the world, and in some parts of the world, it is already taking root. We have created a chair that is ideal for such an environment and situation where the boundary between working and living is becoming increasingly blurred in a positive sense. -
LINE UNIT SHELF
This is a MADE IN JAPAN unit shelf brand that was born as a result of HIGASHIOSAKA FACTORies, a platform project to create possibilities for the future with a focus on "manufacturing" in the city, which is part of the rebranding project of Higashi Osaka City. Our company is involved in a comprehensive range of activities, from branding, creative direction, product design, design and development support, website launch, and PR including SNS and other communication.

Frame
Design from usage development.
This project started with finding a new usage for the smart mirror.
Rather than a unilateral proposal from us, we held a series of workshops with the client's development team members and volunteer participants, and together we came up with ideas for the services and functions we wanted and the conditions that would accompany them, based on situations that would make people want to use them. We then carefully worked out the framework, planning, specifications, and product design, as well as the GUI. As a result, a new and familiar smart mirror was born from the viewpoint that "conventional smart mirrors are too caught up in the word 'mirror'". -
leafee series
It is ever present to lend greater peace of mind to everyday life. Leafee is a home security platform incorporating sensing and network technology, which anyone can easily set up. I designed a set of products to build out the platform. All of these products can be installed in all kinds of living spaces in the home. Generally, they remain in place where they are installed. Reflecting on these characteristics, I created a series of designs on the theme of “precise but understated simplicity.”
-
sola
Incorporating a landscape into an object. Expression inspired by a landscape. These techniques have been widely employed since long ago, not just in fine arts and crafts, but also as a form of creative expression. I launched this project with the particular desire to transform the color of the sky—a formless landscape that is magnificent, ambiguous, beautiful, and seen by everyone, every day—into something that can be touched.

澄壇 / Glass Altar
A new, more appropriate place for praying. This was the inspiration behind the creation of the "Sumidan" glass altar.
In line with changing lifestyles and the diversification of prayers, the style of Buddhist altars has evolved continually over the generations, particularly in cities. We tried to imagine what a new, more appropriate Buddhist altar for today’s rapidly changing and diverse world would look like. Naturally, we reflected on the shape, as well as on the material, to arrive at an optimum solution. -
Whiz series
Connection, cleanliness, and design as a tool.
Whiz is SoftBank Robotics' second AI-powered commercial cleaning robot, after Pepper, humanoid communication robot. We were involved in the conceptual design of the product, the creative support for the commercialization, the direction of the CMF, and some GUI design.
