-
Adell Advocats
The corporate identity and website design for a law firm in Barcelona.
The positioning of the words and phrases on two sides at different levels suggests the Scales of Justice.
A different tone of grey is used for each item in the stationery set which conveys the idea that their work is about nuances and distinctions rather than being simply black and white. -
Biblioteca Camp de l’Arpa Caterina Albert
The Caterina Albert Library is housed in an old plastics factory.
The signage system was designed to integrate with the surroundings and to respect the architecture and history of the building.
The typeface is Gotham Book. Composed in uppercase it has great visibility and legibility from close-up and far away. This is ideal for a library as it works for the large fonts used for signs as well as the small fonts of shelf labeling. -
Amics CCCB
The CCCB is Barcelona’s museum of contemporary culture.
The Friends of the CCCB is a scheme which gives members free admission, advantages and discounts.
The identity was designed to show people, each with their own personality, coming together as a group and, to represent them in an abstract style in keeping with the spirit of the museum. -
Biblioteca Francesca Bonnemaison
A signage system for a local public library in the Sant Pere neighbourhood of central Barcelona.
Due to its location within an historic and somewhat shabby building with a confusing layout, the library presented several difficulties. The panel concept was devised as a cost effective solution to these challenges. A simple typography
was used on a shelf system giving considerable flexibility in the positioning of the signs. The panels themselves were designed to evoke books and pictures and to be in harmony with the grandeur of the building. -
Welcome pack for Ferrer
Welcome pack for the international pharmaceutical company Ferrer.
The concept was developed from the company’s baseline “We are Ferrer” and it presented employees with a stone paper bag with a pen drive and a notebook inside.
In keeping with the company’s commitment to sustainability the bag is reusable. To highlight this and to engage employees further an internal competition was devised asking them to show innovative and interesting ways the bag could be reused. -
La Seu del Districte Sants - Montjuïc
A book to commemorate 100 years of the Sants Montjuic townhall in Barcelona.
The clean and clear typography was chosen to emphasise the images.
A modern version of a classic and historic typeface which, like the building itself, evokes the past while looking to the future. -
Biblioteca Montbau
Signage system for a public library in the the Montbau neighborhood of Barcelona.
This small, community library, housed in former school buildings, was extensively renovated and extended.
A new signage and shelf labeling system was required to orientate the users in the new space and to reflect its new architectural style. A clean typography was chosen to be combined with wood. The wood itself is formed of three different layers. This gives the sense of volume as well as a warm and cozy feeling in keeping with the ambiance of the building. -
