The Kyoto Global Design Awards celebrates the diversity of design across the world. Japan's cultural center, Kyoto, has more than a thousand years of history and is one of the oldest cities in the world. As well as its legacy of Japanese history, this is a city that continually innovates and endeavors, bringing history and modernity together. This precious heritage has allowed Kyoto to become not only an important symbol of culture but also a hub for new economic and design development.

Starting in Kyoto, we embark on a journey in search of global talents seeking to bring together top-designers from around the globe. Our aim is to encourage designers to increase design value, promote social and commercial exchanges, and make meaningful contributions to a better world.
