Christian Baun is a graphic designer and specialist in designing logos. He is one of the graphic designers who have designed the most logos in Scandinavia (300+ logos for brands and companies). All the logos have been implemented in the real world.

He has won numerous awards and is himself a jury member at 6 different design awards. As a jury member he has been to e.g. Tokyo, New York City, Milano, Montreal, Düsseldorf.

Christian Baun: ”A logo that contains a trademark (symbol/icon) has more strength, and the need for trademarks is getting bigger and bigger - just take a look at the app icons on your smartphone. I believe in the power of a trademark. The trademark must be able to stand alone, but also as part of the entire logo”.

”When I design a logo I spend most of the time on the idea phase – a logo needs a relevant and original idea that reflects the company’s value proposition and brand values. And of course it should be crafted very well”.

  • Union for military personnel

    Union for military personnel: I have designed a brand new logo for the employees in the Danish military. The logo consists of seven coats of arms that all point into the community that is important to the association. The coats of arms are a traditional symbol in the military, and in the logo they symbolize that the association is for all departments in the Danish defense.

  • Slagelse – a healthy Municipality

    Slagelse – a healthy Municipality: Its all about health in ”Folkesundhed” Slagelse Municipality! In the trademark you will find a healthy and active human (take a look at the negative space). You will also find hearts – symbolizes ”care”. Last but not least, you will find the initial ”F” for ”Folkesundhed”. The colors are the corporate colors from Slagelse Municipality.

  • Cine rental

    Cine rental: Cine Rental rents out film equipment to professionals - the main focus is of course on film cameras. The target group is professionals who produce feature films, commercials, music videos and the like.

  • Cold Facts

    Cold Facts: Cold Facts is a consulting firm that guides companies, institutions and families with strategies to stop the spread of Corona and Cold viruses.

  • Qblue Balanced

    Qblue Balanced: Description: Qblue Balanced is a financial company. The trademark shows the initials ”Q” and ”B” and graphs.

  • Victoria Properties

    Victoria Properties: The company is listed on the stock exchange and invests in real estate. The trademark in the company’s new logo design symbolizes both properties, but also graphs that refer to the price development in the real estate market.

  • Marigold Innovation

    Marigold Innovation: – helps life science companies enter the market with their products (which takes a long time in the life science industry) because you have to go through many phases: Idea, development, patent, approval from the authorities, etc - and thats exactly what the trademark symbolizes (each leaf in the marigold-flower symbolizes a phase). The color naturally turned orange like a marigold flower.

  • Melville Biosecurity

    Melville Biosecurity: A biosecurity company (located in New York and Tel Aviv) that analyzes all layers of the food transportation data ecosystem to reveal actionable insights about high-risk contamination events in cargo shipping fleets and detect and prevent potential outbreaks in near real-time. The mark shows the initial ”M” and symbolizes trace from a ship in the water and a road (transportation).
